Every piece is designed to feel like it was discovered in the back room of somewhere real. Apparel from places and brands that feel familiar, even if you're visiting them for the first time.
Our Story
Our story started in the Eastern Sierra. Growing up, summers meant camping in Mammoth Lakes, eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at the base of Devils Postpile, and breathing in that crisp high desert air. Over the years, living everywhere from Colorado to the Nebraska Panhandle, I realized I was always searching for that same feeling: places with real character. The roadside taverns, the quiet hunting camps, and the trailheads that time forgot.
The Spark
The idea for Deadstock Trading Co. hit me while sitting around a campfire with my kids. I wanted a quality piece of clothing that captured the rugged, nostalgic spirit of the land we were sitting on. When I couldn't find it, I decided to build it.
Our first release, the Whitney Creek Tavern tee, was inspired by those fictional-yet-familiar spots we all swear we've seen on a road trip.
